Hey Y'all, I was board today at work and ringed up one of every thing .....
so Here is a jpg of half of the really long receipt ... Do you all think foods is a bit more expensive for stuff now?

Oh...I don't know.. In '76, drinks were 35, 50, and 70 cents for the small, medium, and large respectively. At the time, I heard that it cost the park roughly 2, 3, and 4 cents total for each (cup, ice, drink). It helps to cut cost by having your own postmix team and an Ice House. The cups were probably also provided at a steep discount as they either said Coke or Dr. Pepper on them. That's one hellofa profit. Looking at that receipt though...I'll be SF makes about 7 bucks profit off a "Sport" quart and about 3.50 off a large drink. Those are probably the biggest bang for the park's buck being that there is less labor involved and fewer ingredients than say making a "chicken salad".

Somethings are cheap but somethings are looking costly. So, It depends on customer that which thing that person should take and which should not take.

Umm... Yeah! And food is not good. My family and I refuse to contribute to SFOT highway robbery of concessions. We bring food and a cooler EVERY time we go to the park. I cannot believe guests bend over and take it. I remember back in the day , you could eat your way around the park. Now you would spend an obscene amount of money if you were to do that. The only thing I shell out for is an occasional pink think for $2.

I don't blame you. A restaurant steak is cheaper than a hamburger and fries!
