For those who may be interested, I have a cache of Six Flags' Indian Village postcards. They measure 5 1/2" x 9". There are 2 types. One is a photo of Billy Huntinghorse (the Great, Great Grandson of the famous Kiowa Chief Satanta) wearing a full headdress. In the background the tops of the sombreros of the animated characters along the route of the Fiesta Train are visible. The other card has a picture of a Pueblo Indian Hoop Dancer named Joe Thundercloud.
I will sacrifice 15 sets of them at $6.00 per set to the good folks that are members of this website. I have another 25 sets that I plan on selling for at least $10.00 per set. I will limit each individual to no more than 3 sets. For those who desire to purchase a set of these cards, please reply to me directly and I will send you my P.O. BOX address. I will only accept Money Orders and I am afraid that I will have to charge an additional $1.50 to cover postage and handling. Delivery should be within 2 weeks. |

Certainly,
Enjoy them for free!... or, own a piece of history! I don't wish to pressure anyone into anything. As I have previously stated, I derive a great deal of pleasure from gazing at the items and reading the articles that are featured on this website. However, after having searched on Ebay and seeing that most of the post cards from Six Flags are being sold there from $5.00 on up, I thought that offering these cards at $3.00 apiece was reasonable. I honestly have no idea how the individual that I purchased them from obtained them. I bought them at an indoor flea market, the seller wasn't even present. I assume that they were discarded as being no longer relevant after the Park removed the Indian Village attraction and that the person who sold them to me managed to get a hold of them somehow. Maybe they were an employee or they got them from someone who was? I can only speculate. Regardless, I have them and I would like to sell some of them to people who are interested in purchasing them. In hindsight, I probably should have used the word "pairs" instead of "sets". So, again, anyone wishing to purchase some authentic, vintage Six Flags memorabilia, please don't hesitate to contact me. I have 40 pairs of these cards to sale. I don't know how many, besides the ones that I possess, are still around. But, I figure with a couple of million people living in the Metroplex, there won't be too many people on your block that will have them. |

Reminds me of the garage sale that my family had when we sold my Star Wars figures for less than dollar because I no longer played with them.
