Count me among those who has no love for Flashback. I've been thinking for years that it was doomed, mostly on the long-line factor.

A wooden roller coaster practically a stone's thrown from the Judge, though? Hmmm ...

I lay claim to Oscar, biotches!

One good thing about Flashback! was that it was easy to train on. It was awesome to be able to take trainees beneath dock while the train was cycling and keep them down there when it came flying back to station--oh..I mean....the visualization of what the wheel carriages looked like.

Don't be surprised to see Flashback! go..but don't totally place your bets on a woodie yet. Tony Hawk's Big Spin came to be only because their original plan ended up being nearly twice as expensive.

Yeah, I' think I'll wait for the press release. I learned a long time ago not to listen to "someones" that work in the park. I would love to see Flashback go...but I haven't heard about this anywhere else.

I never did this but I heard tales of people calling the ops office and telling them Flashback is code 2 to add/remove a train. That was always one of my favorite stories when the dispatch person fell fot it.

Maybe it wouldn't be a new ride, but rather a ride from another park.

The person in HR showed me the email they got from the park president stating that a new wooden rollercoaster would be going in that area. This email was sent to all full time personnel in the park. The email said that no press release would be going out until later in the season, right now the park is doing a huge pr compaign around Tony Hawk's Big Spin.

Sounds like they are breaking a confidentiality agreement, and now you're publicly posting about it. Hope you are not good friends with this person!

So there will not be a steel coaster over the lake on the west side? That was on drawing board one time too.
